WSOP Poker Tables Go Green

The poker tables at the World Series of Poker are green in other aspects than the actual felt this year. Harrah's (proprietor of the WSOP) has collaborated with EGM Green to ensure that the poker tables live up to a high environmental standard.
The brand new poker tables from EGM Green are exhibited at the Rio All-suite Hotel and Casino to promote the respective brand's environmental awareness:
"Casinos are taking up the mantle of sustainability and leading the charge is Harrah's Entertainment, Inc. EGM Green is positioned to help drive sustainable change by offering green products developed for casinos," says Eric Hansel, president of EGM Green.
Nearly every part of the poker tables is built from ecologically sustainable materials - all the way down to the water-based glue that adjoins the different table parts.
EGM Green hopes of course that more environmentally consious casinos will adopt the company's poker tables.
