Win a €12.5K Buy-In, Trip to Monaco in PokerStars Cash Challenge
Ever dreamed of playing in a huge poker cash game in one of the fanciest casinos in the world where you get to take home all of the profit?
What poker player hasn't, right?
For two PokerStars players, though, that dream is about to become a reality.
Remember the Big Game?
If you remember the popular TV Show PokerStars Big Game, where an online challenger won the right to play against an elite group of invited players and keep the money, you'll be familiar with the new PokerStars Cash Challenge.
Before we even get into what you have to do, here's what two lucky players will get:
- Return flights for two to Monte Carlo
- Four nights’ stay for two at Le Meridien, Monte Carlo
- €500 in spending money (credited to your Stars Account)
- A €12,500 buy-in to a high-stakes cash game!
You read that right. You'll get €12,500 in real currency to buy-in and play in an elite cash game in front of the PokerStars cameras. And once you've played a minimum of 150 hands, everything you win is yours to keep.
Here's What You Have to Do
Now to the most important part: How to win your free trip to play in the Monte Carlo cash game. Four online qualifiers will run daily on PokerStars at 12:05, 14:05 & 16:05 ET Feb. 27 - Mar. 5.
To play in one of these qualifiers you'll need a ticket, and to get some tickets you'll need to make a deposit. In this case if you deposit $30 (€28/£24) or more using the code ‘CASHCHALLENGE’, you'll be credited with 7 free tickets.
The top 20 finishers in each of those daily qualifiers will then advance to the casting stage where he or she is then invited to send in a video audition.
You'll have 2 minutes (and 2 minutes only - anything longer than 2 mins will be discarded, as will videos with copyright material) to show why you belong in the cash game. Tell your story, PokerStars says, in as much detail as possible including your life outside of poker.
Things they're looking for in particular? "Plenty of personality, humor and enthusiasm!"
All videos must be in English and should be uploaded to your YouTube account. Then email the link to email@example.com before Sunday, March 12, 2017. If you make the shortlist PokerStars will contact you by phone for an interview. After, they'll select two winners and arrange their travel to Monte Carlo.
